Job Description Job Description Job Title: Thread Mill Operator Reports To: Departmental Supervisor Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Pay: Based on experience (BOE) Primary Responsibilities: - Set up and organize threading equipment to produce standardized internal or external threads of varying types, adhering to close tolerances and finish requirements. Duties: - Follow operational sequences, utilize appropriate tooling and tool speeds, and manage work indexing rates as prescribed to ensure production standards and quality requirements are met. - Maintain a clean and organized work area. - Interpret and work from drawings, specifications, charts, and layouts. - Complete all required paperwork accurately. - Utilize scales, micrometers, profiles, and standard thread gauging devices (such as verniers and calipers) to ensure quality standards are consistently maintained. - Work under general supervision and follow provided instructions and guidance on new tasks, including managing variables and addressing operating challenges. - Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Physical capability to stand, lift, and bend as needed for the role. Note: Responsibilities may be adjusted by management based on operational needs, and additional tasks may be assigned as required.
