Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of machining experience Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience Proven experience operating boring mills or similar machinery. Basic understanding of machining processes and techniques. Preferred Qualifications: Technical certification in machining or a related field. Registered Journeyman and/or comparable education Excellent working knowledge of machining processes and in-depth understanding of tool and die manufacturing Knowledge of machining, tool & die, modeling, programming, die cast process Experience with CNC boring mills. Familiarity with quality control processes and tools. Responsibilities: Operate and monitor boring mill machinery to ensure optimal performance and quality output. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining specifications. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to minimize downtime. Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards. Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed. Skills: The required skills for this position include a strong understanding of machining principles and the ability to operate boring mill machinery effectively. Attention to detail is essential, as candidates will need to ensure that all components meet precise specifications.
