Role Summary: We are seeking an Installation Technician who would be responsible for assisting in the successful installation of audiovisual systems. This is a full-time position based in Wixom, Michigan. Schedule is Monday through Friday, with overtime pay when applicable. Weekend and Holiday work may be requested. Key Responsibilities: On-the-job training provided in the following areas: Study to read Bluewater Construction and AV flow prints. Learn proper cable pulling techniques. This includes following a cable pull schedule, establishing cable paths, labeling, taping, service loops, fishing down walls, pulling cable through conduit, and installing and bundling cable into a cable tray. Acquire knowledge to distinguish wire type, usage, and color difference. Ability to train on the use of ladders, lifts, and power tools in a safe manner as required by OSHA Gain skills to mount displays, projectors, speakers, screens, and cameras both from walls and ceilings. Learn to cut in wall plates, touch panels, and ceiling tiles. Enhance knowledge on how to terminate all wire types and connectors either by compression, crimp, solder, or punch down. Other duties as assigned. Skills/Qualifications: Detail-oriented and dependable Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time management Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Basic computer skills (Microsoft suite) Ability to excel in a fast-paced and challenging work environment Must be comfortable in a stressful atmosphere Flexibility to work extended hours including nights, weekends and occasional travel Why Join Us: Support flagship A/V projects that define client experiences and drive company growth.
