Job Description:

Modis is working with a client who has a Remote Deployment job in Garfield Heights, OH. This position is a mid-level support role that will be responsible for remote management of multiple server installations. This person should have experience working in an IT environment providing user telephone/remote support. A qualified candidate should be experienced supporting or installing Microsoft technologies. The client is a large automotive manufacturer with multiple supported sites throughout the nation. This position is a long term project based contract.
 
Remote Deployment job:
 

• 
  

• Remotely manage server installations and upgrades alongside technicians at different sites.
• Guide personnel through system and peripheral configuration checklist and established procedures.
• Troubleshooting issues associated with server installation/upgrade.
• Provide accurate and thorough solutions to user problems, escalating or transferring problems when appropriate.
• Provide knowledge via trained expertise for development concepts, best practices and procedures.

 
Qualifications:
 

• 
  

• Must have at least 3 years of experience in an IT support/administrator role with experience with Microsoft system technologies.
• Previous end user phone support experience.
• Must have flexibility to work any shift as well as working weekends, after-hours, and Holidays as needed.
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2003, 2008 and/or 2012 is a plus
