What You ll Do
- Provide executive-level leadership and operational oversight
for the Hematology/Oncology division within the medical group
- Serve as Associate Medical Director for the cancer service
line, guiding systemwide cancer care strategy
- Lead and oversee more than 40 full-time academic
hematology/oncology physicians
- Oversee clinical, academic, and research programs across
hematology and oncology services
- Direct and advance oncology service integration/expansion
across multiple hospitals and ambulatory locations in Southeast and
Central Michigan
- Provide leadership to Bone Marrow Transplant, infusion
programs, and systemwide oncology services
- Maintain a clinical practice (approximately
25%) while dedicating time to division leadership
and academic/research initiatives

- Hematology/Oncology Fellowship completed (must complete)
- Experience required
- Board eligibility/fresh graduates: Not accepting board
eligible / fresh graduates
- Ability to work within a permanent (Perm) opportunity (not
locum to perm)
- Familiarity with an academic/large health system environment
(as evidenced by prior leadership experience)
Preferred
- Progressive leadership experience with academic programs and/or
large health systems
- Prior leadership titles such as (examples provided): Vice
Chair, Chief, Associate Division Head, Program Director, or
Director (clinical program/service line/academic program)
- Experience overseeing faculty, clinical programs, research
initiatives, and operational strategy
