Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Cleveland, OH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,733 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/18/2026 About the Position Job Title: RN Surgery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 AM - 03:30 PM Hours per Shift: 8.75 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience with Davinci XI, ability to scrub, ability to circulate, experience with posterior eye and eye trauma Description: We have two operating departments. One is the main OR with 26 rooms and includes level one trauma. The other is a 7-room inpatient-outpatient mix. Your main base will be the 7-room unit, but floating may be required when needed. Looking for an RN who can scrub. Experience with Davinci XI is a must. The ability to circulate or scrub in eye procedures is a plus. The typical load in the 7-room unit includes the following: General procedures primarily involve hernias, appendectomies, cholecystectomies, Nissen fundoplications, PEG placements, and GI work. Colorectal procedures include open and laparoscopic bowel resections, with some robotic procedures. Gynecological procedures involve oncological and benign surgeries, including open, laparoscopic, and robotic techniques, D&C, hysteroscopy, LEEP, and tubal ligations. Urological surgeries include cystoscopies, stent placements, TURBs, TURPs, percutaneous nephrostomies, HoLEPs, open, laparoscopic, and robotic nephrectomies and cystectomies. Breast procedures consist of biopsies, mastectomies with lymph node dissections, and mastectomies with reconstruction. Eye procedures occur only three times a month and include plastics, cataracts, and vitrectomies. Assisting with device insertion for brachytherapy is also part of the role, mostly conducted by the radiation oncology team. Plastic surgeries are usually in conjunction with breast or gender affirmation procedures. Urogynecological surgeries involve slings and anterior-posterior repairs. Robotic procedures are mostly in urology and gynecology, with some bariatric surgeries. The unit operates Monday through Friday and often finishes by 7 PM to 8 PM. If we finish early, floating to the main OR may be required to complete the day. The obligations will include a mid-shift of 6 AM to 7:45 PM every six weeks and two weekend call shifts per contract.
