Radiology Locum Tenens Job Details Estimated Weekly Pay: $7,000–$7,500/week Position Type: Locum tenens (travel/contract) – Diagnostic Radiologist Setting: On-site, hospital-based radiology department Location: Wooster, OH 44691 (Ohio radiology jobs) Start Date: 03/09/2026 (ASAP start may be available) Duration: 13 weeks (through approximately 06/08/2026) Schedule: Varied; Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Shift Duration: 8-hour days Hours per Week: 40 Modalities: XR, CT, MR, US, NM, Fluoroscopy Daily Volume Expectations (per 8-hour shift): ~90–100 studies Coverage Scope: Reads support combined coverage across multiple sites (Wooster/Randolph/Iredell) Diagnostic Radiologist Requirements Experience: Recent diagnostic radiology experience in a hospital and/or high-volume environment preferred Board Certification: Board Certification (required) Licensure: Active Ohio medical license (required) DEA Registration: Required NPDB: Self-Query NPDB report required at time of presentation (dated within 30 days) Clinical Capability: Must cover stroke/perfusion ; must be able to read all CT excluding CT cardiac Radiology Physician Responsibilities Interpret diagnostic imaging across XR, CT, MR, US, NM, and fluoroscopy with a focus on accuracy, quality, and turnaround time Provide confident acute reads, including stroke/perfusion imaging, to support emergent clinical decision-making Support a broad subspecialty case mix including ER, MSK, neuro, pediatrics, nuclear medicine, fluoroscopy, and diagnostic mammography procedures Perform light IR procedures as needed, including biopsies (e.g., thyroid, lung, bone, liver, renal; CT- or US-guided), drainages (e.g., paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drainage, chest tubes, cyst drainage), lumbar punctures (diagnostic LP, myelogram, epidural), and arthrograms (knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, ankle) Communicate critical findings promptly and collaborate with referring providers and care teams to ensure safe, coordinated patient care Maintain documentation and reporting standards aligned with departmental policies and regulatory requirements Apply now to be considered for this locum tenens radiology assignment in Wooster, OH .
