Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical Profession: RN Medical/Surgical Specialty: RN Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: Not specified License: BLS Must-Have: EOW/EOH required. Intermittent charge responsibilities may be required, charge training/shadowing is offered. Description: This is a 30-bed medical/surgical unit specializing in solid organ transplant and bariatric surgery. The typical patient population includes pre-op and post-op solid organ transplant patients (kidney/liver/pancreas), post-op bariatric surgery patients, and other general medical/surgical patients. This unit has 12 available step-down (SDU) beds. These beds are not dedicated or reserved and will be filled with med/surg patients when there are no SDU patients. While efforts are made to ensure SDU patients go to assigned staff, there is no guarantee for assignments, so travelers may have to care for SDU patients.
