Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Stepdown - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/19/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Cardiac Stepdown Job Details: • Travel RN position for a busy cardiac stepdown unit • Work in a 30-bed adult medical-cardiology unit specializing in advanced cardiac stepdown care • Focus on complex heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, interventional cardiology and dysrhythmias • Provide expert management for patients requiring heart transplants and implantable devices (VADs, pacemakers, defibrillators) • Support patients undergoing procedures such as cardiac catheterization, ablation, and chemical cardioversion • Work as part of an interdisciplinary team providing specialized cardiac care • Experience with advanced cardiac monitoring and stepdown level care required Facility: This large academic medical center operates a specialized cardiac stepdown unit that provides advanced care for complex cardiac conditions.
