Locum Tenens Opportunity: Physician Physiatrist (PM&R) near Detroit, MI We are seeking a dedicated Physician specializing in Physiatry (PM&R) for a locum tenens position near Detroit, MI. Job Details: Profession: Physician Specialty: Physiatrist (PM&R) Location: Near Detroit, MI Shift Type: 24-Hour, Sunday to Saturday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (On-call 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM) Providers Needed: 1 Default Rate Type: On Call (Daily) Emergency/Temp Privileges: No Weekend Requirements: Yes On Call Requirements: 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM IPR unit On Call Job ID: j-227801 Responsibilities: Provide coverage from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM on-call and on-site from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Reason for Locum Coverage: Another provider is on vacation Patients per day: 10-14 Support Staff: Therapy Manager, Nurse Manager, Administrative Director APP Coverage: 5 days/week On-site Services: Lab, Radiology, Procedure Room Current EHR: Cerner Procedures/Skills Required: Physiatrist PAPE/H & P Stroke Management Amputations Discharge Summary/Medical Records Clinical Staffing/Care Plan Meetings Weekly Care Plan Documentation Pre-Admission Screening Review & Documentation per CMS Guidelines Prescribing Narcotics Daily Patient Face-to-Face Acute Consultations as necessary Insurance Peer-to-Peers as necessary Requirements: Board Certified (No BE) - Required Michigan Medical License - Required at the time of clearance, no exceptions (Not accepting IMLC) BLS Certification - Required Local Provider - REQUIRED, no exceptions This locum tenens position near Detroit, MI, offers an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality Physiatry care in a supportive setting.
