Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 Weeks Shift:
Day and Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 18
months of permanent experience in specialty prior to travel.
License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact state
license in hand at time of submission. Certifications: Current BLS,
ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. Must-Have: - 18 months of
recent stepdown experience. - ECG rhythm recognition test and
safeMedicate assessment must be completed during orientation with
acceptable scores. Description: This position is for a registered
nurse specializing in step down care. The nurse will work three
12-hour shifts. Shifts will rotate between day and night as needed
based on hospital operations, while best efforts will be made to
honor preferred shifts. Traveler must have experience in step down
units, with progressive care experience preferred but not required.
Must work at least every other holiday. A reference from a manager,
assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty
is required for submission. Required certifications must be active
with no pending issues. Background checks will be reviewed by the
facility. Candidates cannot have any open cases or license hits.
Candidates with facial hair may not be considered unless an
approved exemption is provided. Travelers must be nicotine-free,
