Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 12/08/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse Location Cleveland, OH Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shifts, 3 - 12 hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30) Job Description We are seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse with a minimum of 18 months of recent experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The candidate will be required to work at least every other holiday. An understanding of ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration is necessary, as assessments will be completed during orientation. Responsibilities - Provide patient care in a telemetry unit, monitoring patients’ vital signs and responding to changes in their condition. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans. - Educate patients and their families about health management and self-care. - Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required. - Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand mandatory. - AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required. - Passed PBDS Assessment is waived; acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are necessary during orientation.
