Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent PACU experience required. License: Must have a valid Ohio license or compact state license in hand. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. Must-Have: - A minimum of 18 months permanent PACU experience prior to travel. - One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required to qualify for submission. - Recent ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment will be completed during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required. Description: All requirements listed in the job description and submittal requirements are non-negotiable. Must work night shift, three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Candidates must have 18 months of permanent experience in the PACU specialty prior to applying for travel positions. Candidates must hold a permanent Ohio license or a compact license at the time of submission. A current BLS and ACLS certification is mandatory for all candidates. Recent references must come from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the PACU specialty, and should be acquired within the past 12 months. Charge nurse references are acceptable. Candidates with any background check issues will be reviewed, but no candidates with an open case will be accepted. The facility does not accept candidates with any license issues. Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements temporarily. All other travelers must be nicotine-free and pass a negative drug screen. Candidates must submit their profiles in accordance with all outlined requirements.
