You will serve as the administrative leader for one or more research departments, programs, markets, and/or shared services.Responsibilities:

• Manage one large research department or multiple related teams in a matrixed environment, acting as the liaison between researchers and research leaders.
• Oversee all administrative aspects of research activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Work closely with research leaders to manage service level expectations aligned with research priorities.
• Create and direct strategy and growth, implementation, productivity, financial performance, compliance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement for your research area.
• Lead and manage people in a complex environment, setting meaningful goals and ensuring accountability in achievement.
• Plan and manage financial operations, including budget development and expense analysis.
• Develop short and long-term research strategy in partnership with the Executive Director Research Operations.
• Drive research integrity by ensuring compliance with relevant policies and ethical standards governing research activities.
• Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.
• Master's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of professional and functionally relevant experience with 6 years of leadership and management experience required.Preferred Qualifications:
• Senior leadership experience within healthcare organizations, preferably in cancer centers or large hospital systems.
• Experience managing large, complex healthcare programs, including budget management and strategic planning.
• Strong background in research administration and grant management.
• Experience with NIH funding preferred.
