Full Time40 Hours/WeekMonday - Friday, 8am-5pmOnsite 5 days/weekSummary:
The Director, ISD Compliance & Quality Assurance is responsible for the oversight of all I.T. quality assurance and compliance aspects.Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute policies and procedures which govern Akron Children?s Hospital quality assurance and compliance programs.
• Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards and develop QA best practices to ensure all necessary practices, tools and templates are appropriately executed.
• Monitor and test policies and procedures to ensure they can result in compliance.
• Carry out risk assessments and compliance reviews to ensure policies and procedures are being followed.
• Recommend the initiation of investigative procedures in response to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.
• Conduct and document routine quality assurance audits to ensure that standards are being met.
• Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Collect, compile and analyze statistical quality data to identify trends, areas for improvement and to monitor corrective/preventative actions.
• Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards.
• Assist with or leads management of contract negotiation and compliance.
• Ensure that the Akron Children?s Hospital complies with existing and developing federal and state laws and regulations
• Project management duties fifty percent of the time.

  Technical Expertise
• Extensive and deep technical and legal understanding
• Experience in reading and applying regulations in a technical context.
• Experience assisting in or leading contract negotiations is required.
• Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
• Experience in healthcare is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.Education and Experience
• Education: Bachelor?s degree in related field is required; Master?s degree is preferred.
• Experience with implementation of corrective action programs.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, QA applications and databases.
• Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA.
• Solid experience in effective usage of data analysis tools and statistical analysis.
• Certification: Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) is preferred.
• Years of relevant experience: 8 to 10 years is preferred.
• Experience interacting with federal and state regulators is preferred.
• Must possess extensive leadership capacity to develop, influence, direct, and manage teams, as well as influence/liaise with regulatory authorities.
