Job Description:

efficiency. We are currently seeking an experienced Underground
Maintenance Mechanic to join our Engineering & Maintenance team.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the functionality and safety of
our underground mining equipment, which is critical to our
operations and vital to maintaining our productivity and
operational excellence. Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on
all underground mining equipment, ensuring operational readiness
and safety. Diagnose mechanical issues and provide rapid response
to operational breakdowns to minimize downtime. Collaborate with
the engineering team to develop maintenance strategies that improve
equipment longevity and reliability. Maintain detailed records of
maintenance activities and equipment performance reports. Adhere to
and actively promote adherence to all safety rules and regulations,
including environmental policies established by the company and
governing bodies. Participate in ongoing training and development
activities to stay current with industry standards and new
technologies. Expert knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics. Strong
problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve complex
mechanical issues. Proficient in the use of tools and machinery
used in underground mining. Excellent communication and
collaborative skills. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
in varying conditions. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
