Job Description Job Description Quality Manager Location: Bowden Manufacturing – Willoughby, OH Schedule: Full-Time | 1st Shift Position Overview Bowden Manufacturing is seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to lead and strengthen our Quality function in a precision machining environment. This role partners closely with Engineering and Production to ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and ITAR, while driving practical, shop-floor improvements. This position is ideal for a quality leader who enjoys solving problems at the source, developing people, and building sustainable systems. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop Quality Technicians and Inspectors. Own and improve the Quality Management System (QMS). Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions (CAPA). Lead internal, customer, and third-party audits. Support FAIs, new product launches, and process validations. Analyze quality data to reduce scrap, rework, and nonconformances. Serve as a primary quality contact for customers and suppliers. Qualifications U.S. Citizenship required. 5 years of quality leadership experience in CNC or precision manufacturing. Strong knowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO 9001. Proficiency in GD&T, blueprint reading, and inspection methods. Proven leadership and communication skills. Experience with ZEISS CMM / Calypso .
