Job Description:
The City Carrier Assistant (CCA) is a non-career position with
the United States Postal Service. CCAs are responsible for
delivering and collecting mail, as well as providing a wide range
of customer services in their assigned geographic area. This role
requires a strong commitment to service and the ability to work in
various weather conditions. Deliver and collect mail along
specified city routes using a postal vehicle Provide customer
services and respond to inquiries Sort mail and prepare it for
delivery Ensure the security and safety of mail during transit and
delivery Follow postal regulations and procedures precisely
Maintain records and submit necessary reports as required
Proficient in operating a postal vehicle Strong attention to detail
and organizational skills Excellent communication and customer
service skills Ability to work independently and make decisions
