an Architecture Senior (Sr) Team Lead brings advanced technical
leadership and strategic oversight to guide the design,
coordination, and delivery of architectural construction documents,
specifications, and details across a diverse portfolio of complex
projects. In addition to managing multiple teams, this position is
responsible for overseeing technical direction, resolving escalated
design challenges, and ensuring alignment with project goals,
quality standards, and company best practices. The Sr Team Lead
plays a key role in resource planning, risk management, and process
improvement initiatives, while also fostering a culture of
collaboration and professional development within the team. This
position frequently engages with project managers, client managers,
and clients to provide expert guidance and ensure project success.
Primary Responsibilities Be responsible for the team’s quality of
work, productivity, and actions. Direct and support production
teams by assigning tasks, balancing workloads, and ensuring
high-quality deliverables that meet technical and regulatory
standards. Oversee resource planning across multiple projects or
programs, ensuring optimal team utilization and workload balance.
Serve as a liaison between departments, facilitating collaboration
and resolving inter-team dependencies or conflicts. Oversee the
full lifecycle of projects—from planning and design through
construction documentation and administration—ensuring alignment
with scope, schedule, and budget. Collaborate with Project Managers
and Discipline Leads on project budgeting, scheduling, staffing
forecasts, and proposal development. Offer expert guidance on
design, code compliance, and technical problem-solving, including
implementation of Quality Management Programs, QA reviews,
engineering/architectural calculations, and documentation accuracy.
Serve as a technical liaison between internal teams, clients,
consultants, and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs) to ensure
project clarity, alignment, and compliance with regulatory
standards. Interpret and apply company, client, and jurisdictional
requirements, standards and applicable codes to ensure all designs
and documentation meet professional, legal and safety obligations.
Implement and uphold quality management processes, recommend design
improvements, and contribute to the development of best practices
and standards. Lead meetings, document decisions, and clearly
communicate project goals, updates, and changes to all relevant
parties, including clients and senior leadership. Supervising
direct reports is a key responsibility of this job. Perform other
duties as assigned. Position Requirements Bachelors Degree in
Architecture or related field is required. Minimum of 10 years of
professional experience is required. Minimum of 4 years in a
leadership or management role is preferred. Registered Architect
(RA) licensure is preferred. NCARB Certification is preferred.
Computer skills necessary to enter daily timesheet data and use
Microsoft Outlook for email correspondence. Advanced knowledge of
Microsoft Office Suite, Deltek, AutoCAD, Revit, Autodesk
Construction Cloud, Newforma and BlueBeam Revu. Benefits and Perks
