Job Description Job Description Auto Body / Mechanical Maintenance Technician Location: Wickliffe, OH Shift: 1st Shift Schedule: MondayFriday | 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Pay Rate: Starting at $17.00/hour (higher pay based on experience) Position Overview We are seeking a dependable Auto Body / Mechanical Maintenance Technician with hands-on mechanical experience to support the maintenance and repair of industrial and facility equipment at our Wickliffe location. This position is well-suited for candidates with backgrounds in auto body repair, automotive mechanics, diesel mechanics, or equipment maintenance who are looking for a stable, day-shift opportunity. In this role, you will use your mechanical skills to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and complete preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment in a production environment. Key Responsibilities Perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, automatic doors, and shop machinery Diagnose mechanical issues including wear, alignment, vibration, and damaged components Repair or replace parts using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment Perform basic welding, grinding, cutting, and fabrication as needed Conduct routine inspections to identify mechanical or safety concerns Track usage of tools, materials, and replacement parts Follow Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) and all safety procedures Complete work orders and document repairs according to ISO 9001 standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Communicate effectively with supervisors and production teams Work independently and manage daily tasks with minimal supervision Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Must pass pre-employment drug screening Prior experience as an auto body mechanic, automotive mechanic, diesel mechanic, or industrial maintenance technician preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Experience with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment Welding or fabrication experience is a plus Familiarity with workplace safety practices and mechanical repair procedures Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work on equipment throughout the shift Frequently lift/carry up to 20 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs Ability to reach overhead, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces No lifting over 100 lbs required Work Environment Industrial shop and production environment Exposure to: oLoud noise (up to 90 dB hearing protection provided) oForklifts, overhead cranes, and moving equipment oDust, dirt, oils, greases, coolant mist, and industrial chemicals (PPE provided) ________________________________________ Why Join Us?
