Job Description:
Overview:Shift: Every other Saturday from 5:30 am to 10:30 am,
with one shift during the week Monday to Friday from 5:15 am to
1:15 pm. Additional days may be required based on need and
availability.**Required to travel to the prison as necessary due to
staffing needs. Mileage will be reimbursed from the clinic to the
prison not from home to clinic.**Community Medical Services (CMS)
is hiring a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse to
process specimens and provide outpatient medication and treatment
services for those with opioid use disorder. In your role as a PRN
Nurse, youll work under the supervision of the Nursing Manager and
the Director of Medical and Nursing Operations to conduct required
testing, maintain the medication inventory, audit records, and
assist medical providers in providing a safe place for anyone
looking to start their recovery journey with us.As you join our

schedule.Is excited to work in an outpatient setting, much like a
doctors office.Likes to chatyou wont be physically moving patients
in this role, but you will be having conversations with them
throughout your shift.Responsibilities:To thrive in this role, you
must be able to:Administer medications as ordered/prescribed by a
CMS medical providerMonitor behavioral patterns, medical symptoms,
and physical symptoms related to dosage, as well as other symptoms
related to drug use and mental health concernsObtain vital signs,
blood specimens, and urine samplesProcess point-of-care urine drug
screens per company policyPrepare take-home medication (n/a in
Montana)Monitor medication administration closely to prevent
diversionReport diversion to proper internal authoritiesMaintain
accurate client records in companys EHR systemDocument medication
errors and respond to adverse medical reactions per company
policyArrange temporary incoming and outgoing courtesy dosing
clientsDeliver medications to external facilitiesOrder necessary
dosing room and nursing-related suppliesMaintain accurate
medication inventory recordsAdhere to all federal, state, local,
and accrediting body regulationsAdminister CPR if necessaryMust be
able to collect and process phlebotomy/venipuncture and capillary
testing as ordered by provider.Qualifications:Licensed LPN or RN in
state of employmentCPR Certification RequiredAbility to travel to
assigned CMS sitesExperience in the field of substance use
disorders preferred, but not requiredKnowledge of the signs of
intoxication and opioid withdrawal symptomsDemonstrates accuracy in
medication administration and ability to maintain accurate client
